Jim DeSalvo - Tenor Sax

For the past 20 years, Jim has been performing around the Chicago area with various Funk, Soul, Classic Rock, and Big Bands on alro, tenor, and baritone saxes. In 1974, Jim joined his first working band "UNITY" performing at high schools and colleges (when schools actually hired bands for their dances and functions!) and night clubs on alto/tenor sax and flute and continued performing with them through the early 80's. Jim took a few years off from gigging to get married, have 2 kids, and start a business. In 1995, Jim got back into playing out again an became a volunteer musician at Willow Creek Community Church where he performed locally as well as backed up some of the biggest touring contemporary Christian artists. Jim is honored to take over lead tenor sax in the 95th Street Band.
